Move your mind, Move your body, Move your soul.
I sometimes get frustrated when people (ok, when I) talk about "the journey". The search. We are all on a path - yes! And we are all searching. We are looking for love, teachers, acceptance, abundance, for joy... Or at least, I am.
Part of the reason that I am embarking on this blog - and this topic specifically - is because I'm fed up. Fed up with the search for happiness. Fed up for the search for all the moments other than this moment. Right. Now.
This blog is about how our emotions can guide us through life. Emotions are not positive nor negative, as one of my favorite teachers (Carrie Tyler) reminds us. They just are. They well up within our bodies (and lot's of times within our minds - oh, that storyline that ticker tapes across my brain!). They can be ridden, expressed, exposed!
I am not opposed to joy. On the contrary - I LOVE to laugh and play and to embarrass my children on the playground.
But I am MORE apt to say, "OK. So how does that feel? Right now. Drop down deep into your body and feel it."
So let's talk about The Feels. Here we go.
