Trust in the Universe.

Trust in the Universe. Open to the flow of the Universe. Raise your vibration to align with the abundance of the Universe.

I have heard these phrases so often, I realized the other day that they had kind of lost their meaning for me. What does it mean to trust in the Universe? And how do I do that?

Does trusting the Universe mean that we don't get scared walking down a dark street at night? Does it mean saying "no" to a gig that doesn't sit right in the pit of your stomach?

Maybe.

The Universe, the Source, God, the Creator, Mother Earth, the Divine Force, Spirit.

There are lot's of ways that we talk about that universal source of love and light. The energy/high frequency that we cannot easily name or categorize. The is what is referred to, often, in the shorthand as
                                                                        "The Universe"

A very important piece of this puzzle that smacked me in the face is We are All Connected to this Divine Source. Meaning - We are all divine. Including your annoying co-worker, the "leader" of the US, your favorite friend, and you. The incredible Krishna Kaur reminded me that "If you don't see God in all, you don't see God at all."  Well, shit. THAT is a post for another day.

So if we have that divine essence within, if we contain "The Universe", then when we want to trust the Universe, we actually are looking to trust in ourselves (and in the goodness/light/love of others).

Let that settle in for a minute.

What we really need to do is trust ourselves.  And we need to tune in to ourselves, access that small voice within, in order to build that trusting relationship.

Practice: take 10 minutes today and get quiet, soften your eyes, and breathe. It's ok if you can't stop thinking or feel jittery. Notice that thinking, notice the jitters. And notice without judging. Observe those thoughts and sensations. And then let them go.

You gotta feel it to heal it.

Our physical bodies are the primary tool we use to experience this life. Connecting with our breath, moving vibrations through our physical bodies, feeling what comes up, and then releasing through expression, surrender, creativity. This is being human in these human bodies.
